Day 2

On the 2nd day of our trip, we went out to Deb's shop and helped make these ginormous balls out of alder twigs for an art show called "Facing the Elements" It sounds really dramatic, but it's just an art show that takes place in the forest.. hence the name Facing the Elements. We wanted to add some color, as they were all brown and would really be hard to make them pop :) So, Deb went into her shop with the ingenious idea of using spray paint. But, we didn't have enough colors to stand out from just the ordinary, so we had Grandma paint some wood chips red, and me and Zoe went out on a search for some spray paint. We coated the balls, and came up with the name "We Got Balls" It will at least attract some attention.. but attention from the right people? Well, we will just have to wait and see. Don't worry, this is not the last time you will here from "We Got Balls", We will post the finished product in our site.. it will be amazing :)

We also went swimming with Grandma and then to open gym with Deb and Bailey. We sure got a work out :)
