Day 3

Third Day! We woke up early and headed out fishing with Ralphie and Papa. On our way out it started to get really choppy. It got so bad that we almost decided to turn around and go home! No! We didn't want to come all this way and not fish! So, with enough persisting, we got Ralphie to steer the boat out farther. It eventually let up a little bit and we got to finally put our poles in the water. Alexis caught the first fish, and then Zoe, and last but not least, Papa caught one too! Alexis had a huge fish on the end of her line, and Ralphie had to hold it up because she couldn't do it herself :) Well, it was really heavy, and he got a good workout in the process!! The bad news is that it broke the line and got away right when it got on the surface, I guess Ralphie couldn't get to it fast enough.. At the end, we caught a total of eight fish, which was our limit, and they were all Halibut. When we got back to the house, Ralphie oh so kindly filleted most of the fish.. We helped with some :)
